Dechant family fundraiser

Many of you know I’ll be retiring from daycare this summer as I prepare to open my bakery. One of my daycare families, who have become like family to us over the years, is facing an unimaginable tragedy after a car accident that took the life of their sweet 10-year-old daughter from our local community.

My daughter has also babysat for this family, and they hold a very special place in our hearts. If you’ve followed me for a while, you know I do my best to help whenever I can. Last year, so many of you came together to support one of my daycare families after a parent passed away unexpectedly. Because of your generosity, we were able to donate $1,000 to that family. It was incredible to see our community rally together, and I’m hoping we can do the same again.
